The climax of the story is when Morrie dies of ALS. The major conflict is that Morrie has ALS and is going to die, when he dies I suppose that means the conflict is resolved. The book is very deep when sending its message, it means to not take things for granted, and to love people whether they be friends, family, or loved ones before its too late. Mitch, Morries student and friend is a dynamic character, and Morrie is a Round character. the end of the novel is very believable and summed up the story with Mitch learning to live life to the fullest and not to be married to his career. I would reccomend this novel to a friend because of the theme of the book, it reminds me personally of a song, just the lyrics, "Live Like We are Dying" by kris Allen, the lyrics mean the same as the book. I liked both Mitch and Morrie because I can relate to Mitch as he is trying to figure himself out as a human being and being so naive, but in his own perspective. Morrie is relatable because he frankly loves life, If he were me write now writing this essay, he probably wouldnt write it, he would go out with his friends and spend time with them, simply because he would think its more important.
